| Parents have discovered that the YMCA’s School Age Program (SACC) is a great place for children to learn and grow. SACC programs:
- challenge children to accept and demonstrate the positive values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
- offer a balance of activities including recreation, sports, educational enrichment, healthy snacks and more.
- include the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), sponsored by the USDA.
- are KDHE licensed and SRS contracted programs
- received the 2006 Outstanding After-School Program Award from the Kansas Community Education Association.
- enroll over 1,000 elementary school children in 29 schools in Wichita and surrounding areas.
YMCA SACC enrollment is available to students in kindergarten through age 12 attending select schools in Andover, Augusta, Circle, Douglass, El Dorado, Goddard, Maize, Renwick, Valley Center and Wichita.
View SACC Brochure for a detailed list.
Hours
On regularly scheduled school days, sites open at 6:30 am. (depending on location), and operate until the school day begins. SACC begins again at the end of the school day and closes at 6:00 pm.
